Finished The Boys (show)
It certainly was a show. Often pretty good, often juvenile and clearly trying hard to shock its target audience with sex stuff (but, you know, not so much that they stop watching). Antony Starr is great as Homelander throughout. The villains are explicitly homophobic and transphobic and racist, and we can infer that those are supposed to be bad things, but the heroes don't explicitly say so (which I think would get tiresome) - but we do get several scenes of them talking about how it's good to be kind and have hope when no one else does and stuff like that, and I think that's interesting. Some strangely unnecessary plot points in the last couple of seasons that I assume were more important in the comic or something. Not entirely easy to recommend, but I guess I had a good time overall. Maybe the TV show I would least recommend going into without knowing anything about.

The chains with the pearls are removable, and I think I'll be wearing it without them, because having things dangling in my face sounds annoying. I think hair ornaments are for pretty warm weather clothes, so I don't have much time left to wear them...

I think one of my favorite moments from this year will remain when I was watching a stream shortly after the whole US - Iran thing started, and the streamer said something like "It's been a really slow news week," and then after a couple of moments "... in gaming. It's been a slow news week in gaming". Good lord.
